....have just been to see the Degree Show at City & Guilds of London Art School in Kennington click here and was really impressed by the paintings by Jessica Oliver www.jessoliver.co.uk. Her work has developed from studies of the sea and coastal landscapes as well as the influence of Homer's The Odyssey. I was struck by her use of colour and what she calls 'electrical toxicity' of the bright neo-tones.
