THE CIRCLE

....have just started reading 'The Circle -discovery of the circle' by Bruno Munari
first published in 1964 my edition 2012 www.corraini.com  .....circles are going to be a feature of my work for some time to come......

Doodle Inspiration

looking again at these big doodle sheets I was reminded of the time when
the elephants came to Central London.......

I love the bright colours and the bold thick black lines......

these fun colours are inspiration for me to start doodling again.....

Exhibition - Mary Ward Centre

Here are some drawings I did out at Highgate with fellow painters.

I worked up these drawings into this large painting which is now in a group
exhibition at the Mary Ward Centre, Queens Square, Holborn.

Bright Circles

I am going to be continuing with my circle theme - these paintings are 8 inches square....and its been good to work with bright colours ....my favourite is the bottom right.
